Jamie and Ian's original plans for their wedding was to get married at Hunting Island Beach, but along came Hurricane Matthew and decided that their plans were going to have to change. Just like any couple who loves each other would do, they began to look for other locations to have their wedding, and refused to let anything stand in the way of their love. These two have been together for seven years, so that's a whole lot of love to try to stand in the way of, and look out Hurricane Matthew because they were ready to say I do! They were able to figure things out, and Jamie's boss ended up being kind enough to lend out his backyard, which you will see in the pictures was a beautiful location! They ended up getting married on Ladies Island in Beaufort, South Carolina. It was absolutely stunning, and was filled with Spanish Moss trees and overlooked the water! I personally thing that it was more beautiful than Hunting Island; it was PERFECT!
Jamie looked absolutely stunning for her special day!
The ceremony turned out so beautiful, and the location couldn't have been any more perfect!
The gorgeous bride, with that bright smile that she had on her face all day long...she deserved this day to be perfect!
With family and friends by their side they celebrated their special day with the ones they loved the most!
The bride and groom sharing their love for one another!
This photo is so sweet, and truly captures that love that Ian and Jamie share....a little calm after the storm was all through was well deserved!
The bride with her beautiful bridesmaids that she was so thankful to have by her side on her special day.
The groom with some of his men that stood by his side throughout the day.
After the ceremony, we went downtown to take pictures on Bay Street; then the bridal party was able to finally take some time and relax, and of course party a little bit at some of the local bars. Once the party hour was up we packed up and headed to the reception area on the limo bus. There was no shortage of fun and laughter during their party hour downtown!
The reception was actually held in one of the groomsmen, Matthew's backyard. I just need to give a huge shout out to Matthew, NOT the hurricane, but the groomsmen who was so kind to allow them to use his backyard. He went above and beyond and worked his behind off to clean up all of the hurricane's damage and make sure that the yard was perfect in time for this special occasion. Let me tell you, it was PERFECT! They did an incredible job, making it one of the most beautiful receptions I've photographed, by far one of the top ten! Not to mention that Matthew was so awesome, and took me out on a boat to be able to grab some gorgeous photos from the water!
Candace Pierre was the wedding planner and decorator, and I have to say that she did an absolutely beautiful job!
The bride with her now husband and some of the important men in their lives!
The groom with the lovely ladies!
Talk about a wedding filled with such fun, and such good times!
Congratulations to Jamie & Ian on their marriage, and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day! Even through the rain and the storms, there is always something to smile about and this day couldn't have turned out any better!
